September 2012 Event Recap (part 1)

Last sunda was one of the best and funnest events of the 2012 season. 13 drivers and loads of spectators that came out helped make the event what it was.

September 23th, 2012 – Drift & Time Attack Event

Event #7 of the 2012 season is slowly approaching so get your cars ready!
Here is the basic breakdown of the events.
  • $50.00 at the gate to drive in the event
  • Drivers get 1 free crew member admittance
  • Kids under 10 are free
  • all other spectators are $5.00
  • Gates open at 9:00AM and close at 6:00PM
  • Event is at Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, ID
  • Drivers and passengers must wear a helmet and seat-belt
  • Camping at the track the night before is allowed and encouraged.
  • Cars, non-lifted trucks, Karts, and Supermoto bikes are allowed (supermoto riders must wear full protective gear)
  • Drifting is a practice sessions with instruction available upon request.
  • Time Attack is open-track-day-style timed lapping sessions.
No need to pre-pay for the events. You can pay at the gate the day of the event.
40 driver max
The Bathrooms will be open
and as always bring shade, extra tires and a good attitude.

7:30pm — 9:30pm – FD: Main Competition – Round of 32 – Track
9:30pm — 11:00pm – “Halftime” Break – Main Paddock
11:00pm — 11:30pm – National Anthem / Opening Ceremonies – Track
11:30pm — 1:30am – FD: Main Competition – Round of 16 to Finals – Track
1:30am — 1:45am – FD: Trophy Ceremony & Closing – Main Paddock

July 15th, 2012 – Drift & Time Attack Event

Event #5 of the 2012 season is slowly approaching and we are anticipating our best turnout this year. If the number of drifters turn out to be more than 12 we will split the drift run into 2 groups (Advanced and Novice) to better adjust the track usage and the way the runs and course are setup. Let us know if you have any questions and we will be more than happy to help you out if answering any concerns you may have.

April 22nd, 2012 Photos & Media

Here is a small sample of the photos from the last drift event. The event had a great drifter turnout this time around and it seems like things are starting to pick up. We showed up at the track with a 911 Turbo waiting at the gate to do some runs.

We had 9 drift cars come out to the April event and with a few more projects in the pipeline we should start having consistent 12-15 drifters at each event.
