BoiseDrift & IR208 – 2013 Season Opening Drive

The (really) cold days are behind us and the Drift Season is on the horizon. To kick things off on the right foot we are going to start the year with a Meet & Greet, followed by the 1.5 drive. Stay tuned as we post up more details.

The meeting location will be at Revolution Concert House Parking lot at the corner of Chinden and Glenwood in Garden City. We will be meeting between 9:30AM and 10:00AM and leaving for the drive at 10:10AM.

Drive Information

The drive will go through Eagle, Horseshoe Bend, Turn toward Emmett on the Black Canyon Highway and follow the Snake river to Emmett, Stop in Emmett for bathroom, stretching and some food hopefully. Take Old Freezeout (the hillclimb road) out of Emmett back to Boise. Driving time should be around 1.5 hrs and about 55 miles.

This is not a race or anything other than a legal cruise. If you do something stupid you will probably get beat up and go to jail. We have no control over what you do but lets keep things clean and keep our image clean in the public eye.

What Next?

Head over to BoiseDrift’s Facebook page and give us a like. Afterwards check in and let us know you will be coming to the drive and if you are feeling very generous, feel free to share the event with your friends by clicking on the share button.

BoiseDrift @ PARC

On the weekend of November 11th, 2013 Cameron and Anthony gathered the courage and drove through a blizzard towards Portaland, OR to attend a PARC drift event in Canby, OR. Here are some of the highlights from the event and a vide from Loren Haleston.

After driving and towing a trailer through a blizzard it was all worth the struggle and the event couldn’t have gone better. With over 50 skilled drivers, great weather and loads of tire smoke the event was well worth the drive.

Our old friend Brian Baker who now resides in Portland, OR was kind enough to provide us with some photos of the event.

HELL King Of Europe DRIFT – Slovakia Ring

Most people don’t realized the size of the drift scene in Europe and King of Europe Cup. The 2012 season has finally come to an end so here is a video from the latest event in the Slovakia Ring. The series is flooded with BMWs, Mercedes, Corollas and every so often an S13,S14 and S15. The series significantly differs from Formula Drift since all of the events are held at race tracks (not ovals and parking lots) and the skill level isn’t higher, but is definitely different.  Here is a quick video from the latest event.
